How to create your first campaign in TWR
To create your first campaign in The White Rabbit (TWR), choose the connected domain, the traffic source and your ad targeting, set the delivery method and enter the Safe Page and Offer Page URLs. When you save, TWR generates the URL and the parameters that go into your ad.
Before you start
- A domain connected to TWR.
- Your Safe Page published.
- The URL of your Offer Page, the page you want to protect.
Step by step
1. Open Campaigns and click New campaign
In the side menu, click Campaigns and then New campaign.

2. Name the campaign and choose the domain
In Campaign name, use any name you like. In Domain, select the domain you connected to TWR. It's the one that will generate the campaign URL.

3. Choose the traffic source
In Traffic source, select the platform where you'll advertise. The available sources depend on your subscription plan. The setup is similar for all of them.

4. Select your ad's countries and devices
Select the countries and devices that match your ad targeting. If you advertise worldwide and on all devices, select them all.

5. Choose the delivery method
The delivery method defines how the visit goes from the campaign URL to the Safe Page or the Offer Page. You choose one for each page:
Method | How it works |
|---|---|
Pre Page | Shows an optimized screen before redirecting to the Safe Page. Recommended for improving CPM metrics. Available only for the Safe Page. |
TWR Redirect | The traditional redirect: the visit leaves the campaign URL and goes to the page's URL, which shows in the browser. |
TWR Mirror | Shows the page's content on the campaign URL itself. Your Offer Page address doesn't appear, not even to someone going through the ad while simulating a real user. |
Unpack | Filtering happens inside your own hosting. It has its own guide. |
They all work well, and none is better than the others. For each traffic source, TWR marks the recommended method. When in doubt, go with the recommendation.

6. Enter the Safe Page
In Safe Page URL, paste the address of the page shown to unwanted visits, such as bots and spy tools.

7. Enter the Offer Page
In Offer Page URL, paste the address of the page shown to qualified traffic, the potential customers for what you advertise. Here the campaign uses a single Offer Page (Single Offer). To split traffic across up to 20 Offer Pages, use the A/B test.

8. Check the advanced options (optional)
Click Show advanced options. There are three, and none is required:
- Unique Token: adds a password-like parameter to the campaign URL parameters, as an extra layer of protection. It's worth turning on, since it needs no extra setup.
- Custom Path: customizes the end of the campaign URL (e.g.
/home). It's purely cosmetic. If you leave it off, TWR generates a random ending. - Spy URL: shows a separate page to people trying to spy on your campaign. If you leave it off, those visits go to the Safe Page. See how to monitor who is spying on your campaign.

9. Save and use the URL and parameters in your ad
Click Save. TWR generates the campaign URL and the parameters that go into your ad. Copy both and paste them into your traffic source:
- Most sources have one field for the destination URL and another for the URL parameters. Use each one in its own field.
- If the source has no field for parameters, append them to the URL with
?(e.g.https://www.yourdomain.com/abc123?parameters). Both ways work, but use the dedicated field when there is one. - If you use a tracking tool or your own parameters, join them to TWR's parameters with
&, with no spaces and no extra?.

10. Test the campaign
To check your setup, click Test Offer. The button turns on a test parameter that unlocks access to the Offer Page.

When you're done, turn off test mode. It only unlocks the test parameter and doesn't affect how the campaign works, so you can test even while your ad is running. More details in how to test if your campaign is set up correctly.
11. Track visits in the chart
With your ad live, open the campaign and go to Charts to see in real time where each visit goes:
Metric | What it shows |
|---|---|
Offer | Qualified visits that reached the Offer Page |
Safe | Unwanted visits sent to the Safe Page |
Bots | Bots that tried to open the link. They also go to the Safe Page, but are counted separately, because TWR doesn't charge for them |
Spy | Visits from people trying to spy on the campaign. They see the Spy URL, if you turned it on, or the Safe Page |

That's it: with the Offer Page, the connected domain, the Safe Page and the campaign set up, you can start advertising with your offer protected. If you have any questions, talk to our team through the chat.
