How to register your domain in The White Rabbit

To register a domain in The White Rabbit (TWR), add a subdomain in the Domains panel, create a CNAME record pointing to the address TWR generates, and validate the pointing. With a single validated domain you can already generate as many campaign links as you want to use in your ads.

Before you start

  • Have an active TWR account.
  • Have a domain registered with any provider (Hostinger, Cloudflare, GoDaddy, and others), with access to its DNS panel.

Step by step

1. Add a domain and enter the subdomain

In the Domains menu, click Add domain. In the Create new domain panel, enter the subdomain you'll use (e.g., www.yourdomain.com). It can be any subdomain you prefer, such as www, home, go, or track. As soon as you fill it in, TWR shows the two values of the CNAME record you'll create in the next step, each with a copy button.

Prefer to use the root domain (no subdomain, e.g., yourdomain.com)? Enter the root domain in the field and do the pointing through Cloudflare, using @ as the record name. For other providers, use a subdomain.

2. Create the CNAME record in your DNS provider

Copy the values shown in the TWR panel and open the DNS panel of the provider where you registered the domain. Create a new record with the values below. The video example is on Cloudflare, but the process is the same with any provider:

Field

Value

Type

CNAME

Name

the same subdomain you entered in TWR (e.g., www)

Target

connect.domains-twr.com

TTL

leave the default (Auto)

Save the record in your DNS panel.

The Name of this record must be the same subdomain you entered in TWR in step 1. The most common mistake is pointing one subdomain in DNS and registering a different one in the panel: if the two don't match, the domain won't validate.

3. Save and validate the domain in TWR

Go back to the TWR panel and click Save domain. The domain appears in the Domains list with the status Initializing. Once the DNS propagates, click Validate (or Validate all, in the pending domains notice) and the status changes to Valid. Propagation usually takes a few minutes; if it hasn't validated yet, wait, refresh the page, and try again.

With the domain validated, you can now create your first campaign in TWR.

4. Add more domains as you scale

A single domain already generates unlimited links. The number of domains you can register depends on your plan, but you can add more at any time: click Manage slots in the Domain slots section, choose the amount, and confirm. Each domain slot costs US$ 2.00 per month.

When scaling, we recommend using a different domain for each ad account or profile, instead of repeating the same one across several. Distributing domains is a market best practice for scaling more safely, not a TWR requirement: repeating a single domain across many accounts increases the risk of losing them together.

If you later reduce the number of slots, the amount invested returns as balance on your subscription and can be used as credit for future payments.
