UniqueToken + TOK

New Update: UniqueToken + TOK

This update is focused on the anti-plagiarism feature.
With it, we take the protection of your campaigns to the next level.

How to use

You can activate the UniqueToken + TOK feature easily:

- During campaign creation
- Or when editing an existing campaign

Just go to the Advanced Settings option and enable the feature.

Attention: important notes

- When enabled, the campaign parameter will be automatically modified
- Do not activate on campaigns that are already running — the new parameter is different and invalidates the previous one
- After activation, always use the new generated parameter. It’s required
- If you disable the feature, the parameter reverts to the previous standard and the token will be lost
- If the feature is enabled again, a new token will be automatically created

Parameter comparison

Default (without UniqueToken + TOK):

cwr={{campaign.id}}&cname={{campaign.name}}&domain={{domain}}&placement={{placement}}&adset={{adset.name}}&adname={{ad.name}}&site={{site_source_name}}&xid=8qfqwgqb

With UniqueToken + TOK enabled:

cwr={{campaign.id}}&cname={{campaign.name}}&domain={{domain}}&placement={{placement}}&adset={{adset.name}}&adname={{ad.name}}&site={{site_source_name}}&tok=&_H7HQ_UJ=rKBv9LKL&xid=8qfqwgqb

What’s the difference?

With the feature enabled, the campaign parameter includes a unique token:

tok=&_H7HQ_UJ=rKBv9LKL

This token:

- Is generated automatically
- Is mandatory for the correct functioning of the campaign
- Ensures the link is unique and protected from spying and plagiarism
- Is discarded if the feature is disabled, and a new one will be generated if the feature is re-enabled

Domain Whitelisting for Video Hosting Platforms

If you're using Vturb or any other video hosting platform, it’s essential to whitelist the domain used in your TWR campaign within the video platform’s settings.

Without this, the video may fail to load properly or be blocked due to domain restrictions.

Summary

- Enable only for new campaigns
- Always use the full new parameter
- The feature improves your offer’s security and uniqueness
- If disabled, the current token is lost and parameters return to default
- Make sure the domain configured in TWR is whitelisted in your video hosting platform.
