Shadow Campaign Configuration in The White Rabbit (All Traffic Sources)
The Shadow configuration in The White Rabbit allows you to apply advanced protection directly on the hosting, filtering accesses before the offer page loads. This guide explains how to create the Shadow campaign, install the script, and prepare the URLs required for any traffic source.
Configuring the Shadow Campaign
1 . Access the campaign module
In The White Rabbit dashboard, open the Campaigns section.

2 . Click “Create” to create a new campaign
Start a new campaign by clicking Create.

3 . Set the campaign name
Enter an internal name to identify the Shadow campaign inside the dashboard.

4 . Select the verified domain
Choose the domain previously configured and verified in The White Rabbit. It will be used exclusively for the Shadow campaign.

5 . Define the traffic source
In the campaign type field, select Shadow, associated with the desired traffic source.

6 . Configure the safe page
Set the URL of the safe page, shown to unwanted accesses. It must follow the guidelines and policies of the traffic source being used.

7 . Configure the offer page
Provide the page intended for qualified accesses.

8 . Adjust countries and devices
Choose the countries and devices authorized to pass through the filtering. The system will continue validating each access individually.

9 . Use internal tags
Include internal tags, if needed, for organizing and identifying the campaign.

10 . Configure the Unique Token (when available)
When the option is active in the dashboard, enable the Unique Token to add an extra security layer. The token must be used exactly as generated.

11 . Save the campaign
After saving, the dashboard will display the script and parameters.

12 . Install the script on a completely blank page
Create a blank page on any hosting service that allows creating an HTML page.
The page must contain no additional content — only the script generated by The White Rabbit.
13 . Configure the URL and parameters in the ad
Use in your ads the URL of the page where the script was installed, as it is what activates the Shadow functionality.
Then, insert the URL parameters exactly as generated in the campaign.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Does the safe page need to be on the same hosting as the script?
It’s not mandatory, but both must use the same domain from the Shadow campaign.
2. Which URL should be used in the ads?
The URL of the blank page where the script was installed.
3. Do I need to reinstall the script if I edit the campaign?
No. Any edits made to the campaign do not change the previously generated script, so there is no need to reinstall it.
4. Can I use any domain on the offer page?
Yes. The offer page can use any other domain, and it is even recommended that it be separate from the domain used for the safe page.
