How to Run an A/B Test in The White Rabbit (AB Storm)

The A/B testing feature in The White Rabbit, available in the AB Storm module, allows you to split traffic between different offer pages. This function is essential to compare page performance and optimize campaign results in a controlled way.

Creating and Configuring the A/B Test

1. Access the AB Storm module

In The White Rabbit’s main dashboard, go to the AB Storm section. This area contains all existing A/B tests and serves as the creation and management hub for experiments.

2. Create a new AB Storm

Click the “Create” button to start creating a new test. This action will open the configuration screen, where you can enter the basic information for the A/B test.

3. Define a name for the test

Enter a name to identify the A/B test. This name is for internal organization only and can be chosen freely.

4. Add offer pages and configure traffic balance

Insert the URLs of the offer pages for the A/B test and define the traffic percentage for each one, totaling 100%. You can include up to 20 pages.

5. Save the A/B test

After configuring the pages and traffic balance, click Save. The test will be available in the AB Storm module for use in any active campaign in The White Rabbit.

Linking the Test to a Campaign

In the campaign panel, select an existing campaign or create a new one. Inside the settings, locate the “Offer Page” field and change the option from “Single Offer” to “A/B Storm.” Then, choose the test you created earlier.

2. Save the campaign settings

Confirm and save the changes. From this moment, the system will automatically split traffic between the pages configured in the A/B test.

The update takes effect instantly once the settings are saved.

Monitoring and Analyzing Results

1. Monitor traffic distribution

When accessing the created AB Storm, you can view a real-time chart showing the distribution of requests among pages. This division follows the configured percentages, although small variations may occur with smaller traffic samples.

The White Rabbit only performs the traffic split. To identify which page performs better, it’s recommended to use an external tracking tool.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How many pages can be included in an AB Storm test?

The system allows up to 20 different pages in a single A/B test.

2. Does The White Rabbit show which page converts better?

No. AB Storm only splits traffic; performance analysis must be done using an external tracking tool.

3. Is the traffic split accurate?

At the beginning, the division may show small variations in smaller traffic samples. However, as the volume of visits increases, the percentages tend to balance according to the values defined in the test configuration.

4. Can the test be applied to already active campaigns?

Yes. The A/B test can be linked to ongoing or newly created campaigns in the panel.

Conclusion

After completing the steps, the A/B test will be active, and the traffic will be automatically divided among the configured pages, allowing precise comparative analysis of each page’s performance.
