How to Protect Google Ads Campaigns with The White Rabbit (Google Shadow)
The Google Shadow method in The White Rabbit allows you to protect Google Ads campaigns by filtering unwanted accesses and directing only qualified visitors to the offer page. This tutorial shows how to create a Google Shadow campaign inside The White Rabbit and generate the elements required to activate protection in your ads.
1. Access the Campaigns section
In The White Rabbit dashboard, open the Campaigns section.

2. Create a new campaign
Inside the Campaigns section, select the option to create a new campaign.

3. Set the campaign name
Enter an internal name to facilitate organization and identification.

4. Select the verified domain
In the domain field, choose the domain previously verified in the platform. This domain will be used during the filtering applied by Google Shadow.

5. Select the traffic source and the Google Shadow campaign type
In Traffic Source, select Google to enable the campaign’s specific options.
Then, in the Campaign Type field, select: Google Shadow.

6. Configure the safe page
Enter the URL of the safe page, which will be displayed to suspicious or robotic accesses.
The safe page must be congruent with the advertised content and must comply with all Google Ads policies.

7. Configure the offer page
Enter the URL of the final page that will receive qualified traffic.
This URL may use a different and isolated domain, regardless of the one used in the previous steps.

8. Define countries and devices
Select the countries and devices according to the segmentation planned in Google Ads.

9. Use tags if needed
Tags are optional and serve only for internal organization.

10. Enable Unique Token (recommended)
If you want an additional security layer, enable the Unique Token.
The system will automatically generate an exclusive parameter for this campaign.

11. Save the campaign
After reviewing the information, click Save.
The system will generate the Google Shadow script and the URL parameters required for later configuration in Google Ads.

12. Install the script on a completely blank page
Create a blank page on any hosting service or structure that allows creating an HTML page.
The page must not contain any content — only the script generated by The White Rabbit.
| This page serves exclusively for the Shadow functionality. |

13. Configure the URL and parameters inside Google Ads
Use the URL of the page where the script was installed and the URL parameters generated in the campaign.

The parameters must be inserted exactly as generated, inside the Google Ads Tracking Template field.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Does the safe page need to be on the same domain used in the campaign?
Yes. To avoid inconsistencies and reduce the risk of disapproval, the safe page must use the same verified domain selected in the campaign.
2. Can I use any domain for the offer page?
Yes. The offer page can use any other domain, and it is even recommended that it be separate from the safe page domain.
3. Do I need to reinstall the script if I edit the campaign?
No. Any edits made to the campaign do not change the previously generated script, so reinstalling is not necessary.
4. Can the URL parameters be modified manually?
No. Any modification may harm the campaign’s operation. The parameters must be used exactly as generated.
