Domain Pointing to TWR (New Method via CNAME)
Domain Pointing Update for TWR
The way to point domains to TWR has changed — and now it's even simpler and more flexible!
New pointing address:
connect.domains-twr.com
Important:
If you already have a domain pointed using the old method, there's no need to worry. It will continue working normally — no changes are required.
Attention:
If your domain is already registered and working with the previous method, do not make any changes. Updating it to the new method can cause issues, especially if the proxy (orange cloud) is enabled.
The new pointing method should be used only for new domains.
What's the main change?
Important recommendation:
Whenever possible, use the root domain (e.g., yourdomain.com) instead of subdomains (e.g., link.yourdomain.com) when setting up your domain in TWR.
This way, you ensure greater privacy and security — especially concerning traffic coming from Google Ads.
Domain Pointing for TWR
We recommend you continue managing your DNS through Cloudflare, as it has always been done, ensuring more security, control, and full compatibility.
Pointing the root domain (the most recommended for performance and authority) is only possible through Cloudflare, which further reinforces this recommendation.
However, now, if you'd like to point only a subdomain to TWR using another service — such as Hostinger, GoDaddy, Registro.br, Namecheap, among others — that’s also possible!
Just create a CNAME directly in the panel where your domain is registered.
This new flexibility allows a simpler and faster integration, even outside Cloudflare, for specific cases.
1. Access The White Rabbit
Log into The White Rabbit (TWR) panel using your credentials. Make sure you are logged into the TWR platform.

2. Go to the “Domains” option
In the main menu of the TWR panel, click on “Domains.” On the domains screen, you’ll see the list of already registered domains (if any) and the option to add a new domain.

3. Click “Create”
Click the “Create” button to begin the registration of a new domain in TWR. This action will open the section to add a domain.

4. Copy the pointing address
TWR will display a pointing address (CNAME) that should be used in the DNS configuration. Copy the exact address connect.domains-twr.com (without any modification) provided by TWR, as it will be necessary in the next steps.

Tip: avoid using browser auto-translators at this moment to prevent altering the copied address.
5. Access your domain provider’s panel
Log into the site of the provider where your domain is registered (e.g., Hostinger, GoDaddy, Registro.br, etc.) and log into your account. Then, navigate to your domain management area.

6. Go to the DNS settings of the domain
Within your provider’s panel, locate the DNS settings section of your domain. This section might be called “DNS Settings,” “Manage DNS,” or “DNS Zone,” depending on the provider. If you have multiple domains, select the one you want to point to TWR.

7. Create a new CNAME record
Still in the DNS section, find the option to add a new DNS record (usually a button like “Add Record”). Click to add a new record and choose the CNAME type from the available record types.

8. Configure the CNAME Name (Host)
In the Name field (sometimes called Host or Host Name), enter the identifier of the domain you want to point. Use “@” if you want to point the root domain (your main domain), or type the subdomain you want to use (e.g., “www,” “store,” “promo,” etc.). This will be the address that points to TWR. (Example: if using subdomain www, type “www” in the Name field.)

9. Set the CNAME Value (Target)
In the Value field (or Destination/Target), paste the pointing address you copied from TWR: connect.domains-twr.com. Make sure not to add extra text or your own domain in this field — it should contain exactly connect.domains-twr.com, which is where your domain will point via CNAME.

10. Save DNS changes
After filling in the Name/Host and Value/Target of the new CNAME record, double-check that all the data is correct. Then, save the changes (click “Save” or equivalent in your provider’s panel). The new CNAME record will be added to your domain's DNS zone.

If you’re using Cloudflare, make sure to disable the orange cloud for the new CNAME record. It should be gray, indicating that traffic is not being proxied through Cloudflare. This ensures the pointing works correctly.
11. Return to The White Rabbit and add the domain
Return to The White Rabbit panel in the “Domains” section (where you previously copied the pointing address). In the indicated field, enter the domain you are configuring.

Remember, this is the domain you just set up the CNAME for.
12. Click “Save” in TWR
After entering the domain in the proper field in TWR, click the “Save” button to add the domain to the platform. TWR will register the domain and wait for confirmation (verification) that the pointing was done correctly.

13. Wait for DNS propagation
Wait a few minutes (in some cases, it may take a few hours) for the DNS changes to propagate through the internet. This time is needed for the new CNAME record ( connect.domains-twr.com) to be recognized by all DNS servers. Meanwhile, the domain may appear in TWR with status “unverified.”

14. Verify the domain in TWR
After waiting for the propagation period, return to the TWR panel in the “Domains” tab and click the option to verify the domain.

TWR will check if your domain is correctly pointing to connect.domains-twr.com.
15. Complete the setup
If everything was set up correctly, the domain will be successfully verified. You should see an indicator that the domain is active — such as a green check icon or the “verified” status next to the domain in the TWR panel. Done! Your custom domain is now successfully pointed to TWR and ready to be used in your campaigns on The White Rabbit.

Note: DNS propagation is usually fast (a few minutes), but in some cases may take longer. If your domain isn't verified immediately, wait a bit longer and try again. Make sure the CNAME record was entered correctly as per the steps above (exact Name and Value).
With the correct setup, your subdomain can now be pointed to TWR using the new CNAME method, without needing to go through Cloudflare.
However, we reinforce that to point the root domain — which is the most recommended — the configuration must be done via Cloudflare, as always.
This is the most secure, stable, and complete way to manage your domain with TWR.
