Advanced Setup for Google Ads

TWR Mirror + YouTube Video as Safe Page for Google Ads

This guide has been updated with the latest validated method to correctly set up your domain and create campaigns on Google Ads using TWR.

1. Use a clean domain

The domain must be new or have never been penalized by Google.
If there's any doubt about the domain's history, we recommend acquiring a new one.

Using a clean domain is essential to ensure good performance and avoid disapprovals on Google Ads.

2. Access TWR and create a campaign

Log into the TWR dashboard with your credentials.
Start creating a new campaign in the desired format for Google Ads.

3. Select a domain for the campaign

When configuring the campaign on TWR, use the root domain (e.g.: yourdomain.com) or previously registered subdomains (e.g.: replace.yourdomain.com).

4. Access the DNS panel of your provider

Log into your domain management panel (like Cloudflare, Hostinger, GoDaddy, Registro.br, etc.) and go to the DNS section.

➤ Clean unnecessary DNS records

Delete any default records automatically added by the provider.
Keep only the records that will be configured next.

➤ Create the CNAME record pointing to TWR

- Type: CNAME
- Name/Host: @ for the root domain (e.g.: yourdomain.com) or "replace" for subdomain (e.g.: replace.yourdomain.com).
- Value/Destination: connect.domains-twr.com
- Proxy:Disabled (no proxy)

The CNAME pointing to TWR must be done directly, without using a proxy (orange cloud disabled). This ensures the correct functioning of the campaign.

The name you use in place of "replace" will be your subdomain. For example: if you use "www", the result will be "www.yourdomain.com".

5. Find a YouTube video to use as the white page

It must comply with Google Ads policies and be coherent with your ad.

In the TWR dashboard, go to the campaign you created and paste the white video link into the “Safe Page” field.

7. Select the “TWR Mirror” method for safe

While setting up the campaign, choose the TWR Mirror method.

8. Select the “Redirect” method for offer

Select the “Redirect” method and paste your offer URL so that the user is redirected to it.

9. Finalize and save the campaign

After reviewing all the information, click “Save” to finish the setup.

10. Copy the generated URL

After saving, TWR will generate a unique URL that should be used in your Google Ads campaign.

Important Summary

- The root domain (e.g.: yourdomain.com) or subdomains (e.g.: replace.yourdomain.com) must point to TWR via CNAME without proxy.
- The white page must be a YouTube video related to your ad and fully compliant.
- The white video URL must be entered in the “Safe Page” field inside TWR.
- Always use the TWR Mirror method for safe and “Redirect to offer” to ensure secure redirection.
- The domain used must be clean and exclusive, with no history of penalties.
