Advanced Setup: TWR + White Page for Google Ads

This guide shows how to properly configure your domain to run campaigns on Google Ads with The White Rabbit (TWR), including the white page setup.

1. Use a clean domain

The domain should be new or never penalized by Google.

If there is any doubt about the domain history, we recommend purchasing a new one.

Using a clean domain is essential to ensure good performance and avoid disapprovals on Google Ads.

2. Access The White Rabbit (TWR) and create a campaign

Log into the TWR dashboard with your credentials.

Start creating a new campaign in the desired format for Google Ads.

3. Select the root domain in the campaign

When setting up the campaign in TWR, use the root domain (e.g., yourdomain.com) instead of subdomains.

This provides more security and privacy, especially for traffic coming from Google Ads.

4. Access your DNS provider’s dashboard

Log into your domain management panel (such as Cloudflare, Hostinger, GoDaddy, Registro.br, etc.) and go to the DNS section.

➤ Clean unnecessary DNS records

Delete any default records automatically added by the provider.

Keep only the records that will be configured below.

➤ Create the CNAME pointing to TWR

  • Type: CNAME
  • Name/Host: @ (for the root domain)
  • Value/Destination: connect.domains-twr.com
  • Proxy:Disabled (no proxy)

The pointing to TWR must be done directly, without using proxy (orange cloud disabled). This ensures the campaign functions correctly.

Pointing a Subdomain to the White Page

If you want to host a white page on the same domain used in the campaign, follow the example below:

➤ Create an A record for the subdomain (e.g., www)

  • Type: A
  • Name/Host: www
  • Value/Destination: Your hosting IP (e.g., 162.240.30.10)
  • Proxy:Enabled (with proxy if using Cloudflare)

The subdomain with proxy enabled will be used exclusively for the white page (example: https://www.yourdomain.com/policy), while the root domain (https://yourdomain.com) will continue pointing to TWR without proxy.

5. Create the white page on your hosting

Develop a page that complies with Google Ads guidelines (with privacy policy, terms of service, etc.).

It must be hosted on the subdomain created, such as:

https://www.yourdomain.com/policy

6. Integrate the white page into TWR

In the TWR dashboard, go to the created campaign and paste the white page URL into the “Safe Page” field.

7. Select the “TWR Redirect” method

During the campaign setup, choose the TWR Redirect method.

8. Finalize and save the campaign

After reviewing all the information, click “Save” to complete the setup.

9. Copy the generated URL

After saving, TWR will generate a unique URL that must be used in your Google Ads campaign.

Important Summary

  • The root domain (e.g., yourdomain.com) must point to TWR via CNAME without proxy.
  • The white page must be hosted on a subdomain (e.g., www.yourdomain.com) with an A record with proxy enabled.
  • The white page URL must be inserted into the “Safe Page” field inside TWR.
  • Always use the TWR Redirect method to ensure secure redirection.
  • The domain used must be clean and exclusive, with no history of penalties.
